Immersive navigation

10 ways
I applaud Getty Images content section titled 10 ways. This section holds 10 experimental interactive ways to view information submitted by various digital artists. The one that stuck out for me was the piece done by Andries Odendaal called Sumona. In this section was a piece entitled "information" which featured an amazing interaction of images. As you select images to click on, the camera zooms you into the pixelation of the image. As you navigate deeper, the pixels turn out to be more images. And then you can continue to zoom through.

As creatives we are always inspired by interactions like these which lead to unusual ideas of exploration. Anything that pushes us away from the one dimensional characteristics of the browser deserves observation. Imagine diving deep into the cultures of organizations this way...or employee profiles...or the people behind your products.
