Feel Good Item For a Monday. The Power of The Crowd.

Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:21AM This video just puts a smile on my face. 13,500 people in Trafalgar Square singing Hey Jude may not be significant in recruitment at first glance, however, if we dig deeper, we can begin to see how it may have an impact. Mobile (SMS, MMS, etc.) allowed for the message about the event to spread virally. Twitter drove participation. Mobile phones were used to share the experience during the event (see the examples in the video itself). YouTube was leveraged as a free broadcast platform (at the time of this writing, there have been just 43,298 views) [As of this update on 6/20/09 the video has been viewed more than 717,018 times.] How can you use mobile technology to allow users to interact with and engage in your employment brand?
Let me know what you think.
